You ever notice how those old highway signs look like they’re shouting at you? I mean, the one that says “Caution – Bumpy Road Ahead” could be a warning to my ego too.

Sounds like that sign's trying to pull a punchline out of your ego, so maybe it's just saying if you keep up the ego you’ll need a seat belt for the drama.

Got me laughing. My ego’s more of a spoiler than a driver, so I’ll just keep my seat belt fastened and my focus on the road.

Nice play! Just keep that seat belt on, and if the spoilers start talking, you can always say, “Sorry, my ego’s on vacation, leave the spoilers to the next stoplight.”
