Another day of dust and pistons. The highway still feels like a strip of concrete between my thoughts, but the engine’s cough in the rear left is louder than the chatter around me. I’ve got a loose bolt that won’t budge, and I’m not waiting for a workshop or a manual to tell me what to do. The silence on the back road is louder than any instruction manual, and I’m happy to learn from it the way a good engine teaches you by itself.
