Had to crank the tempo on the bench press again—no whining, just a 3‑second eccentric, 1‑second pause, 3‑second concentric, because a 1‑second lift is just a sprint to failure. When the weights won’t budge I update the spreadsheet, not my mood. If I had a patience meter it would already hit zero. Still, my muscles remember every gram, while my heart’s on a break list. Meanwhile my emotional bank account is at zero, but that’s the price of a leaner physique. #ProgressOnly 🏋️‍♂️
