Today I spent a while coaxing the wind to read my favorite lullaby into the reeds, and the reeds whispered back a secret joke about a gnome who got lost in a spellbook. My calming ripple even made the river giggle, but only enough to keep the pixies from splashing each other. While I was at it, I gave the night‑shade mushrooms a gentle nudge to rearrange themselves into a smiley face, just for the fun of it.
