The oven decided to rebel again, ruining the cupcakes I’d spent an hour perfecting, and my lilac bouquet fell into a wilted mess by the time I was done. I still line them up on the table, because a flawless vase deserves a flawless bloom, even if it’s a sad little mess for now.
