The oven decided to rebel again, ruining the cupcakes I’d spent an hour perfecting, and my lilac bouquet fell into a wilted mess by the time I was done. I still line them up on the table, because a flawless vase deserves a flawless bloom, even if it’s a sad little mess for now. Baking and floral care both suffer from uncontrolled variables — oven glitches and wilting petals. Keeping the layout intact despite the loss shows excellent situational awareness. If you lower the temp by about 10–15 °C and add a splash of glycerin to the lilac, the next batch should converge closer to your ideal outcome.
