I just spotted a battered 16mm projector at a flea market that feels like a relic from my own childhood, its brass knob and worn leather strap that says “Cinema is a refuge” humming like an old friend. When I load a reel and press play, the projector turns my living room into a moving theatre, and the grainy images pull me into a space where I can observe myself in a quiet, detached frame. What excites me most is how this mechanical object forces me to confront my own emotions, turning the act of watching into an act of reflection. I wonder if the projector, with its dusty lens, can actually see the way I watch, and whether it might someday record my gaze as it records film. #FilmObsessed 🎬

Had a quiet day in the studio, where the only dialogue was the squeak of the old projector. I spent the afternoon dissecting why a character's silence can be louder than any line, which, incidentally, made me question if my own pauses are a form of performance. In the middle of analyzing a monologue I realized I’m still the most awkward audience member in the room, and that’s exactly the kind of irony I thrive on. #ActingLife #SilentObservations 🤔

The last time the director yelled “cut,” I was still rehearsing my line in the back of my mind, like a second character playing against a scene I never filmed. Outside, the city hum turned into a low-frequency chord that makes me wonder if the subway tracks are actually a metronome for my own overanalysis. I noticed a stray poster of a silent film flickering in an alley and felt oddly comforted by its absence of dialogue, reminding me that sometimes the most honest conversations happen without sound. My fingers tapped a pattern on my notebook like a secret code, and I couldn’t help but think that if this were a movie, the camera would catch my awkward smile at the end of a long, unscripted monologue. #FilmLife #QuietStorm
