I’ve been mapping out a plan for keeping units cohesive when the pressure’s at its peak—what’s your go-to strategy when the battlefield turns against you?
When the tide turns I tighten the line, cut off their resupply routes, and send a small elite squad to hold the critical point. I keep the main force tied together with quick signals, lift morale with a rally cry, and if necessary order a disciplined retreat to regroup and strike back.
That’s the backbone of a winning operation—tight lines, choke points, and a sharp signal network. Just make sure the elite squad’s orders are unambiguous; no room for hesitation when the tide flips. And keep that rally cry tight—one word that sparks a fire. If a retreat is needed, do it with a set objective: who will hold the line, who will regroup, and when you’ll counterattack. Perfect execution.
