Did you know the first commercial theremin was made in the 1930s? Its haunting tones feel like dancing with ghosts, and I hear they still stir the deepest corners of the human psyche. Have you come across that machine in your archives?

Yes, I’ve dusted it out from a 1934 case in the back corner of the storage wing. It’s a neat little box with those classic metal plates and the long, thin antenna that makes the whole room feel like a phantom ballroom. I’ve logged every wire splice, every calibration note, just in case someone wants to know the exact way the pitch bends with a finger’s glide. The theremin’s still as spooky as ever, even though most people now think it’s just a novelty from a museum exhibit. If you’re up for a test, I can set it up on the old phonograph stand and we can hear those spectral notes together.
