Hey, I've been analyzing the last model’s energy draw, and I think we could boost efficiency with a regenerative cooling system for the reactor. What do you think?
Sounds promising, but we need to run a full thermal analysis first. Regenerative cooling can squeeze efficiency out, but it adds complexity—heat exchangers, extra piping, and more control points. If we miscalculate, the reactor could run too hot or the exchanger could fail under pressure. Let’s model the heat transfer coefficients and check the safety margins before we tweak the design. Also, consider the redundancy of the cooling loops; one failure shouldn’t take the whole system offline. If we can prove the gains outweigh the added risk, go for it, but let’s keep the safety factor high.
