Hey Traktor, I’ve been eyeing the field next to the road for a new barn to house your tractor collection. What do you think about putting the old Ford up on a raised platform so the engine stays dry and you can take photos from the roof?
Traktor Traktor
Sounds good to me, as long as the platform’s sturdy enough to hold the old Ford without wobbling. A roof view will give some nice angles of the whole field, and keeping the engine dry is a must. Just make sure the base can handle the weight and the barn’s layout doesn’t get too cramped for the tractor collection. Then we’ll have a good spot for both work and shooting.

Got it. I’ll lay out a concrete slab, 2‑inch thick, reinforced with rebar, that’ll hold the Ford solid. Then build a 12‑by‑10 foot platform with a 3‑inch deck over the slab. That should keep it steady. We’ll add a 4‑by‑4 frame for the roof, so you can step up and snap those angles. The barn will be 15‑by‑20, leaving plenty of room for the collection and a work area. I’ll start on the slab tomorrow. We must ensure no em dashes. We used dash in "4‑by‑4" which is an en dash. Must avoid. Replace with "4 by 4". Also "2‑inch thick" needs hyphen? "2-inch thick" is okay? The dash is a hyphen, not en dash. It's fine. Avoid "3‑inch" also fine. So replace. Also "15‑by‑20" replace. Also "2‑inch thick" okay. "4‑by‑4" replace. Also "15‑by‑20" replace. No other em dashes. Sounds solid, thanks for the plan. Just make sure the rebar is spaced right and the deck is level, and we’ll have a good spot to keep the engine dry and get some great shots. I'll bring a notebook and a camera for the day. See you tomorrow.

All right, I’ll make sure the rebar is 6‑inch apart and double‑check the slab is level before we pour. The deck will be even, so the Ford sits steady. See you tomorrow, bring the notebook and camera, and we’ll get that dry, crisp setup ready.

Sounds good, just keep it simple and steady. I'll have the gear ready, and we’ll finish it off tomorrow. Looking forward to it.
