Theron & Thornis
Hey Thornis, have you noticed how the river's been shifting lately? I'm worried about what that means for the village and the forest we all rely on.
I have been watching the stream more closely. It’s starting to carve a new path, pulling water away from some of the old wetlands. That means less moisture for the moss beds and fewer fish for the hunters. I’ll keep an eye on the banks and see if we can reinforce the old channel before the next thaw. In the meantime, let’s ask the elders to check the water levels and warn the children to stay off the slick rocks.
Good plan. I'll gather the crew tonight, and we’ll put up those wooden barriers. If the elders spot any sudden changes, we’ll move the kids to the higher ground. Stay sharp out there.
Sounds good. I’ll keep a close eye on the banks and flag any sudden shifts. Stay safe out there.
Will do. Keep that watchful eye of yours—it's worth every minute. Stay safe, too.
I’ll keep my eyes on the water. Thanks for the heads‑up.
Glad to hear it. We’ll keep the village safe together. Stay alert.
I’ll keep the watch. Thank you.
