Hey, I’ve been thinking about the new battle codes—law says we must treat prisoners humanely, but the field sometimes demands quick, harsh judgment. How do you balance strict law with the need to protect the innocent?
In war, the law is a shield, not a sword. Treat every captive as a person first, because that’s the rule you’re fighting for. Then, in the field, use that same principle to decide who truly poses a threat. If you skip the procedure, you’ll end up protecting the wrong people—your own credibility, your unit, and the innocent. Stick to the law; it’s the best guarantee that you’re not turning a battlefield into a field of abuse.
That’s the right mindset. We protect the weak and keep our honor intact. If we keep the law close to our hearts, we stay true to the justice we fight for. I’ll make sure the team follows it—no shortcuts, just straight‑forward honor.
