Survivor & Mithril
I’ve been thinking about how to protect a village from raiders—what’s your best tactic when the road’s full of danger?
Keep a low profile. Move at dawn or dusk when visibility drops, stay on known paths, and avoid obvious roads. If you’re heading through a danger zone, stick in packs, keep your weapons handy but not exposed, and set up lookouts with small, quick patrols. Use the terrain—rock piles, bushes, ravines—to mask your trail. If you must cross a risky road, walk quickly, keep your head down, and stay silent; no one wants a loud fight in a quiet canyon. And always have a back route in case the road opens up.
That’s solid advice—keep moving when the light fades, stay in a tight pack, and never let a single arrow go unnoticed. I’ll keep the back route ready just in case. Thanks.
Glad that helps. Stay sharp, keep your eyes open, and move before the first arrow flies.
Your words are my shield. I’ll keep my eyes wide and my feet swift. No arrow will catch me unprepared.
Stay ready, keep moving, and trust the pack. No one can surprise you if you’re already watching.
Thanks, I’ll stay alert and move with the pack. No surprise will get the better of us.
Good. Stick close, watch the edges, and keep moving. No surprise will get you.
Aye, I’ll stick close and watch the edges. We’ll keep moving, and no surprise will catch us unawares.
