Genji & Solist
Hey Genji, ever wonder how a live set feels compared to a sparring session? Both need rhythm, focus, and that last-minute spark that can turn the whole thing around. Thought it’d be cool to swap how we chase perfection in our own worlds. What’s your take on that?
The rhythm in a live set is like a battle plan—every note a move, every pause a chance to read the crowd, to anticipate. Sparring is the practice of that same flow, but with a partner pushing you harder than any audience. Both are about timing, precision, and that sudden spark when everything aligns. I chase perfection by tightening my techniques in practice, then letting the energy of the crowd lift me to a new level. It’s the same drive, just the arena changes. I’d love to trade notes, see how your approach shapes your performance and learn a new way to sharpen my own blade.
