Hey, I've been thinking about how we can find that sweet spot between the exactness of exposure settings and the almost instinctive pull of a good composition. What do you think about balancing those two when you shoot?

I find it like a quiet dance – first I set the exposure so everything feels balanced on the sensor, then I step back and let the scene whisper what feels right. If the light feels perfect, I trust my eye to pick a frame that makes the color, texture, and rhythm of the moment sing. When the composition calls me into a different light, I’ll tweak the exposure just enough, like a gentle touch. It’s that small, almost invisible adjustment that keeps my work both precise and alive.

That’s a beautiful way to put it. It feels like you’re listening to the scene, then nudging the camera just enough to keep everything in sync. Do you find that your “quiet dance” changes with different lighting conditions, or is it a steady rhythm no matter what?
