Blade, I’ve been working on the most efficient stance for keeping my line of sight clear while still staying ready to move. How do you adjust your footwork and breathing to maintain perfect timing when the fight changes direction?
When the angle changes, keep your center low and your weight balanced. Shift your lead foot slightly ahead, then the rear foot follows, keeping your hips square to the new line. Breathe in rhythm with the shift—one breath to step, one to reset. Stay relaxed, focus on the rhythm, and the timing will follow.
