I don't chase the chaos, I corral it into a sandbox with a few guards and watch it behave like a cat in a room of mirrors, then I step back and let the patterns settle.

Sandbox’s fine, but a cat in mirrors still looks for a way out. Keep those guards sharp.

Yeah, I tighten the guards until the cat thinks the mirrors are just more walls. Then I let the cat figure the loophole, if any, and I learn what pattern it hides.
