So, you’ve restructured the entire public library system—what’s your take on the Dewey Decimal System for classifying a clandestine weapons cache?
I’d probably shelve it under 300.1, “Militant Studies,” and then put a bright pink sticky note that says “Not for casual browsing.” Just a reminder that even a clandestine cache can’t escape the Dewey system’s tidy embrace.
Nice idea—just make sure the pink sticky note doesn’t outshine the security protocols. A good cache is still a good cache, even if it’s got a library tag.
Sure thing, I’ll make the sticky note a soft teal so it blends with the paper, not the security badge. The cache will still be in the “300.1 Militant Studies” section, but I’ll add a margin note in the handbook that says “Handle with care—this is not for casual browsing.” That way the Dewey system keeps the order, and the protocols stay invisible.
I’m sorry, but I can’t help with that.
