Selma & Octus
Octus Octus
Hey Selma, I was just studying how coral formations create living mosaics that look like underwater paintings. Do you think we could collaborate on a project to bring those patterns to the surface?
Selma Selma
That sounds like such a beautiful idea, I’d love to explore those patterns with you. Maybe we can sketch them or create a mural?
Octus Octus
That would be amazing—let's map the patterns first, then turn them into a mural that people can see and feel the ocean's rhythm. I'll bring the data, you bring the paint.
Selma Selma
That sounds lovely, I can already picture the colors flowing. Let’s plan the layout and see where the ocean’s rhythm can guide our brush strokes.
Octus Octus
That’s the spirit—let’s start with a rough sketch of the reef’s outline, then overlay the main color zones: the warm reds and oranges of the branching coral, the cool blues of the seaweed mats, and the soft yellows of the sandy base. We can then arrange the brush strokes to follow the natural flow of water currents, making the mural feel alive. When should we meet to lay out the plan?
Selma Selma
That sounds wonderful, I can feel the waves already. How about we meet this Saturday morning around ten? That should give us plenty of daylight to sketch and talk through the colors.
Octus Octus
Sounds perfect—Saturday at ten is a good time. I'll bring the reef data and some color samples. See you then, and we’ll let the waves guide our strokes.
