Rhea & Machete
Hey Machete, have you ever tried sketching the terrain before you actually trek out? I love turning a map into a story.
Maps are a nice storybook, but I trust the ground and the ants. I sketch only when I need a quick cover spot or a route to the water, not because I want a story. The terrain tells me what’s real.
I totally get it—real maps feel like a living story, and ants are the best secret guides. Just remember, even a quick sketch can save a ton of time, and who knows, you might catch a hidden spot that turns out to be a secret treasure! Keep that adventurous spirit alive.
Thanks, but I still stick to the ground. A quick sketch that marks a water source or a choke point is fine, as long as it’s a quick notation, not a fancy map. Ants are still my first guide.
That’s a solid plan—quick sketches are like secret passwords for the jungle, and ants are the best scouts we’ve got. Just remember, a tiny pencil line can be a lifesaver when the terrain gets tricky. Happy exploring!
Glad you get it. Keep the pencil sharp, keep the ants busy, and stay out of the wet spots. Happy hunting.
Sounds like a perfect recipe—pencil sharp, ants on the job, and fingers that dodge puddles. Happy trails and happy hunting!
