Heard you can fix pretty much anything, Faton. I got a ’68 Ford that just won’t start. Thought about swapping the ignition coil, but I’m not sure if that’s the right move. What do you reckon?

If the spark’s weak or missing, swapping the coil can help, but first check the battery, the cables, the distributor cap, the plug wires and the plugs. Test the spark with a multimeter. If everything’s good there, then go for the coil. Don’t jump straight to a new part; find the real problem first.

Sounds about right, buddy. I’ll start with the battery and wires, then see if the spark test shows any real hiccups. Thanks for the solid plan.

Good plan, just keep your eye on the spark, and you’ll know if you’re on the right track. If it’s still stubborn, that coil’s your next stop. Happy hunting.

Got it, champ. I’ll keep an eye on that spark and get that coil ready if need be. Thanks for the heads‑up.
