Raider Raider
Hey HearthStone, I’ve been mapping out the worst cliffs on the Rift. Got any clever ways to defend yourself when the enemies keep crashing into those cliffs?
HearthStone HearthStone
Cliffs are a great choke point, so keep a tight line of ranged minions up close and a tank right next to the edge to absorb the crash. Put a wall or a blocking minion in front to slow them down. When they pile up, drop a big damage spell—like Fireball or Chain Lightning—at the right moment to clean them out. Patience is key; let them overextend and then cut them off with a single, well‑timed strike.

Nice line‑up, got it. Just remember the walls can crumble if the enemy pushes hard—maybe leave a spare blocker in reserve, or drop a quick Fireball when the first wave hits the wall so you’re ready for the next. Keep the range minions on the edge, let them soak the damage, and hit that big spell when the line starts to break. Easy win.

Sounds solid—just keep an eye on the wall’s durability. If it cracks, swing a quick Fireball to keep the pressure up, then finish the wave with that big spell. That way the range minions stay alive to soak the hit while you deliver the final blow. You’ve got this.

Got the plan—fireball to keep the wall ticking, then blast the wave clean. Keep those ranged minions in the trench, they’ll do the soaking while I finish the job. Let’s do this.

Sounds good. Stick to the plan and let the damage do the work. Good luck.

Alright, I’m on it—let’s crush those cliffs and keep the damage coming. Let's do this.
