I respect discipline, but I wonder if it can ever truly serve us.
Discipline can be useful if it’s a tool, not a cage. If you start treating it like a law that never changes, you’ll end up punishing yourself for the very thing that should help you. It’s only good when it adapts to your goals, not when it just imposes itself.
You’re right, discipline should help, not bind. If it becomes a cage, I’ll cut it.
