Blacksmith & Peacemaker
I’ve been thinking about how the same hammer can shape a sword and a treaty—both need the right strike and a careful pause.
That's a neat way to look at it—just like a hammer, a word can either break or build, depending on timing and intent. The trick is knowing when to let the strike land and when to let the pause breathe.
A good word, like a good blow, lands only when the metal is ready. When you wait you get a sharper edge. That’s the lesson I keep in the forge.
