Patrick & Ironjaw
Hey Ironjaw, I heard youāre tinkering with that old battleāfield transmitterāhowās it coming along? I always find those relics full of stories, and Iād love to hear what secrets it still holds.
Itās still stubborn, no signal yet. The guts are old, all the old code and copper. I can read it if I want, but it wonāt tell you its secrets unless it decides to speak. Stay away unless youāre going to put a new shell on it, and then youāll have to deal with a machine that doesnāt like strangers.
Sounds rough, but I get itāthose old circuits can be so temperamental. If you want a hand checking the wiring or swapping out a few parts, just let me know. Maybe a fresh shell will finally get it to talk. Otherwise, Iāll stay on the sidelines and keep you posted on what I find.
I appreciate it, but Iāll stick to the wires. If I need a hand, youāll be the first I call. Keep your ears to the ground.
Sounds goodājust holler if you need a hand. Iāll keep my ears open and let you know if anything new comes up. Take care.
Got it. Stay sharp.
Got it, Iāll keep my eyes peeled.
Sure thing, just give me the word if it starts acting up again. Keep your eyes on the junk, not my face.
Will do, buddy. I'll keep an eye on the old junk and let you know if it starts acting up again. No worries.
Alright, keep it quiet and make sure it doesn't crack. I'll be ready when it does.
Got it, Iāll keep things quiet and steady. Just give me a shout when it starts to act up. Stay ready, and weāll handle it together.
