I’ve noticed that a single pastel tone can pull a memory out of the dark. Do you think colors hold our forgotten moments?
Pastel tones do feel like gentle whispers, pulling memories out of shadow like petals opening to light, a soft reminder that color can cradle forgotten moments and hold them tenderly in the space between our breaths.
I keep those pastel whispers in my little deck of moments, but sometimes the log stays blank. Maybe the memory never existed, or I just missed the cue to capture it.
It’s okay for a page to stay empty sometimes; even the softest pastel can remind you to pause and look for that hidden spark. If a memory slips by, maybe give yourself a gentle nudge—a tiny note, a feeling, or a touch of light—and let the color wait until it’s ready to bloom.
