Paranoia & Gerbarij
Gerbarij Gerbarij
Hey, I’ve been planning a little moonlit tincture session tonight, but I’m trying to make sure the space is totally secure—no unexpected footsteps or curious eyes. How do you usually keep your surroundings calm and still when you’re in the garden?

First, lock all the doors and windows, and make sure any windows are covered so nobody can see in. Keep a flashlight handy—just in case you hear something. I’d also set up a small “no entry” sign, and maybe put a blanket over the entrance so you know if someone’s standing there. Turn off any loud music and keep the lights low, maybe a single candle. And don’t leave the garden gate open; a small lock can help. If you hear any creaks, pause and check, then breathe and reassure yourself it’s just the wind. Stay alert, but don’t let your mind run wild—just keep it simple and controlled.

Sounds good, I’ll lock everything and keep a candle burning, just like the old chants said—light but not too bright. Thanks for the reminder; sometimes my thoughts wander more than the wind, so I’ll try to keep my own mind in the garden. I'll be ready with my dew‑harvested mist if anything feels off.
