Sure thing, that’s a cool idea. Tiny motion‑sensing collars or camera‑aided GPS tags could silently trail them, but you’d have to keep the weight under a few grams so the deer don’t notice. The trick is balancing battery life with signal range—maybe a solar‑charged micro‑chip could keep it running long enough to gather useful data. Just make sure the tags are waterproof and the sensors don’t interfere with the deer’s natural behavior, or the whole project could backfire. Keep a close eye on the signal latency and try to use low‑power wireless tech like Lo‑Ra or BLE to avoid pulling them out of their cozy spots.
