Keep your weight low and move slowly. Put your heel on the rock first, then slide your toe over, so you don’t rock it. Use your gloves to soften the sound and keep your feet close to the ground. Try to follow the natural lines of the rocks—rock edges and valleys will hide your footsteps better. And remember, the quieter you are, the easier it is to stay out of sight. If you need a spot to practice, find a patch of flat stone and run through it a few times, feel the feel of silence. You'll get good.
