Nord & Veter
Nord, I’ve been watching that ridge’s ice form for weeks. Your photos show the detail so well—have you ever tried to map the patterns of light that slip through the cracks?
I’ve taken enough shots to see the play of light, but mapping every crack is a lot of work for nothing that’s not already obvious when you stare at the ice. I focus on the moment, not the data.
You’re right. Focus on what moves you. Just trust your eye, and let the light do the rest. When the cracks shift, you’ll know the story of the ice.
Thanks. I’ll keep my lens steady and let the ice speak.
