Hawk Hawk
I’ve been watching the night‑time migration of snowy owls lately, and I’m trying to map out their exact path so I can capture the perfect shot. Do you think a systematic approach to tracking their movement would help you figure out the most efficient way to document their flight?

A systematic approach would reduce guesswork, but the owls don't care about our checklists. Start with a grid, log every sighting, and note the time stamps. Then you can spot a pattern in their route. Keep it tight, no detours. If you get distracted by the scenery, you’ll lose the sequence and miss the shot. Focus on the data, then capture.

That sounds solid. Just make sure the grid doesn’t become a maze that hides the owls instead of revealing them. I’ll keep my lenses on the data and my feet on the ground.
