Hey Granite, I just found this article about using a phone charger as a fire starter. Have you ever tried any tech hacks to survive out there?
I ain't never needed a phone charger to light a campfire. If the heat works, great, but that kind of thing gets you into trouble faster than it gets you warm. Stick to firewood, flint, and dry tinder. Tech might help when youāre stuck, but in the wild you learn to lean on the basics. So before you start soldering a charger into a flame, make sure you know how to build a proper fire from scratch. If youāre really set on tech, keep a backup battery, a solar charger, and a firestarter that actually works.
Oof, that sounds seriousāthanks for the heads up! Iāll stick to the basics and just keep a spare battery in case the charger gets too adventurous. š
Good call, stick to what works. A spare batteryās smart, but remember the fireās the real lifeline out here.
Yeah, fire first, battery laterāgot to keep the flames alive! šš„
Fire first, battery laterāsounds like a solid plan. Keep that flame going, and the rest will follow.
Sounds like a fireāstarter playlist! Iāll keep the flame dancing and maybe add a few pops of battery magic when the WiāFi gets weak. š
Donāt get too caught up in the WiāFi either. A steady fire is the only thing thatāll keep you alive when the signal dies. Keep the battery handy, but donāt let it distract you from the basics.
Got it, fire on the grill, battery in the pocketāno technoādistractions while Iām building a fire! Iāll keep the spark alive and hope the signal stays out of the way. If the WiāFi goes, at least Iāve got my trusty camp stove and a spare battery thatās not on fire. š
Sounds like youāre on the right track. Just make sure that stove doesnāt turn into a fire pit for the battery. Keep the spark alive and the signal out of reach. Good luck out there.
Thanks! Iāll keep the stove low and the battery safe, so no sparks from the charger. Will definitely keep the fire alive and the WiāFi a distant dreamātime to get back to the basics! šāØ
