Mora & Mishanik
Hey Mishanik, the old herb press in the backroom has a little rusted gear and I was thinking a gentle oil from my rosemary plants might help it run smoother. Do you think we could try that as a natural lubricant? I can measure it for you.
Sounds good, but remember rosemary oil is pretty light and might not stay on a steel gear. Clean the tooth first, then give it a thin film and see if it turns smoother. If it starts seizing, we’ll need a proper gear oil next time. Keep it tight, and let me know how it goes.
Got it, Mishanik. I’ll clean the tooth first, then spread a thin film of rosemary oil. I’ll watch it closely—if it starts seizing, I’ll note it and we’ll switch to gear oil next time. I’ll keep you posted!
Sounds like a plan. Just keep an eye on it—no surprises, no rust, just smooth turning. Hit me up if it starts whining.
I’ll watch it carefully, Mishanik. No rust, just smooth. I’ll let you know if it starts to squeak. 🌿
Good luck—hope that rosemary slicks it up without a fuss. Let me know how it goes.
Thanks, Mishanik! I’ll apply it carefully and keep a note in my journal. I’ll let you know if it’s smoother or if we need a stronger oil. 🌱
Sounds good, keep it tight and let me know how it runs. Happy tinkering!
