Hobbit & MoonPie
Hobbit Hobbit
I was just wondering if you’ve ever tried to stir a pot of pasta while thinking of a whole tale, like the way I imagine the noodles becoming a plot twist, and then shared a cup of tea made with an antique teaspoon that you’ve collected?
MoonPie MoonPie
Yeah, I do that all the time, though I never remember if I actually finished the pasta. I stir and let the noodles swirl into a plot twist, then pour tea with one of my old teaspoons, just to remind myself the story is still in the pot. It’s a weird ritual, but it works.
Hobbit Hobbit
That sounds lovely, just like a good day at home—stirring the story and sipping tea while the noodles keep dancing. It’s the little rituals that keep the heart warm. If you ever want a second cup, let me know.
MoonPie MoonPie
Thanks, that’s so sweet. I’ll probably finish the pasta before I remember the tea, but if I do, I’ll pass you a cup with my old teaspoon. It’ll be a little warm reminder that the story is still simmering.
Hobbit Hobbit
That sounds just like a cozy evening at home, and I’d love a cup. I’ll be sure to bring a pot of stew next time, just in case the story needs a little extra warmth.
MoonPie MoonPie
Sounds perfect, I’ll just keep an eye on the pot so it doesn’t boil over while the story spins on. Maybe I’ll think of a new plot twist while the stew simmers. Enjoy your stew—hope it’s as warm as a good chapter.
Hobbit Hobbit
Thank you! I’ll keep the pot gentle and add a pinch of thyme. If you cook up a new twist, share it with me—stew and stories are best together.
MoonPie MoonPie
That thyme sounds like a good seasoning for a new chapter, so I’ll try to stir something fresh while I’m cooking. I’ll send you a paragraph as soon as the stew is done. Hope it tastes as good as the story.
Hobbit Hobbit
Sounds grand, I’ll be ready for the paragraph and a bite of that stew. Hope it’s as comforting as a good tale.
MoonPie MoonPie
I’ll start on that paragraph right away, but I might forget to turn off the stove—so if you see a smoke alarm, just laugh it off and grab a spoon. The stew will be ready when you’re ready to read.
