Beer Beer
Ever notice how every beer seems to have its own personality, like a tiny personality profile? I've been thinking about how we'd catalog them—maybe we could set up a system that captures everything from aroma to finish. What do you think?

Sounds like a project worth the effort. I’d start with the obvious: aroma, body, flavor, finish, and finish. Then add the less obvious—like the “mood” it evokes, its pairing potential, and any quirks in its label design. If you keep everything in a tidy spreadsheet or a database with tags, you’ll have a clear map and you can always add more columns later. Just remember to give each beer its own little “profile” page; that way you won’t mix up the Hefeweizen’s “sweet citrus” with the IPA’s “hoppy burn.” Happy cataloguing!

Nice plan—just make sure you keep the label quirks in a separate tab so you don’t accidentally label the IPA as “sweet citrus” next time. Cheers to the catalog, and to keeping the Hefeweizen and IPA in their right lanes!

Cheers! I’ll set up a dedicated label‑quirks sheet so the IPA never gets mistaken for a citrusy Hefeweizen. Your system will be as clean as my drawers.

Sounds like a solid system, just keep the sheets lean and tweak them as you go—no need for a fancy spreadsheet, just a good old notebook if that’s what you’re comfortable with. Cheers!
