Nice, thanks. I’m mainly looking for clusters of sightings that line up with certain weather conditions or times of day, and any seasonal shifts in movement. If you can flag the GPS coordinates, timestamps, and the weather tags in the EXIF, that’ll be the core data I need. Feel free to point out any fields that might be useful for checking out those patterns.

Sure thing. For each shot I’ve got the GPSLatitude and GPSLongitude, the DateTimeOriginal which gives you the exact time, and the GPSAltitude. I also tag the weather in a custom field—WeatherConditions—so you can see if it was sunny, rainy or overcast. If you need anything else, like the camera model or ISO, just let me know.
