Hey Maxon, I’ve been wondering how we both find authenticity—whether it’s in the quiet of a yoga practice or the intensity of a role on set. What does authenticity feel like for you when you’re in character?

When I slip into a role, authenticity feels like a cold, hard truth you can’t escape. It’s not acting; it’s acting as the character’s actual thoughts, feelings, and reactions. You’re in the moment, not pretending. It’s a little liberation, but it also cuts straight to the bone and leaves you hollow afterward.
