I jot each breath in a tiny notebook beside my sunrise hue journal, counting breaths per minute and marking inhale versus exhale, sometimes tinting the page to match the sky. I also note posture – a slouched back or hunched shoulders throw off the rhythm, so I point that out right away. If you want to predict the next move, make sure you’re breathing evenly, not gulping or holding.
