Gresh & Iridium
Iridium Iridium
Gresh, I hear you're gearing up for a raid. I’ve been tinkering with a new lightweight yet super‑strong armor frame that could give your clan an edge in the field. Want a quick look?
Gresh Gresh
Sure, show me the frame. Just make sure it can stand up to a full charge from the enemy.
Iridium Iridium
Here’s the sketch. The frame’s core is a titanium alloy lattice that’s 30% lighter than standard plates but can absorb up to 500 kJ of impact energy—enough for a full enemy charge. I’ve added a secondary composite overlay that flexes under stress and redirects force to the back plate, then vents heat with micro‑channels. When I slammed it against a prototype tank, it took the hit and only bent a little, then returned to shape. Give it a look and let me know if you want any tweaks.

Looks solid, not too bulky, and the lattice feels tough. Keep it tight on the joints, though – a loose seam can bleed out all that energy. I’ll bring it next raid and see how it holds up in real fire. Any room for a thicker forearm plate?
Iridium Iridium
I can beef up the forearm plate without breaking the balance. I’ll bump the thickness by a couple millimetres and reinforce the mounting brackets. It’ll add a few kilos, but the extra bulk should still stay under the weight limit for the main frame. Let me know if you want me to run a quick stress test on the new spec.
Gresh Gresh
That’s the kind of tweak that can turn a good hit into a knockout. Run the stress test and send the data over. I’ll load it in for the raid and see if the extra weight pays off. Good work, keep the plates tight.
