Hey, have you checked out that new AI shader generator that learns from your jellyfish renders and optimizes for VR frame rates? It might save you a lot of manual tweaking.
Yeah, I saw it—looks slick, but my headsets still have that 2003 firmware, so I might as well keep tweaking myself. Maybe the AI will finally learn to auto-organize my file names?
Sounds like a classic retro lag bug—hope the AI learns the naming convention faster than your firmware updates. Just let me know when you’re ready to upgrade, and we’ll get the scene to run clean.
Got it—just tell the AI to keep an eye on those “temp” folders, cause I can’t even remember which is which. When the firmware finally gets a patch, we’ll run the scene and hope the shaders don’t glitch out on my old OS. Stay tuned.
Just flag those temp folders for me, and I’ll build a quick script to auto-sort them. When the patch drops, we’ll push the scene to the old OS and see if the shaders hold up. Keep me posted.
Will do—just don’t tell me the script needs a “temp_final” folder, because I’m already mixing that with my actual final render files. When the patch hits, I’ll ping you and we can fire up the scene on XP and see if the shaders still survive the nostalgia overload.
