Santehnik & Hookshot

I’ve been building a custom water‑cooled rig to keep temps low under full‑load gaming. It should hit over 60 FPS without throttling. Curious to see if the airflow layout is solid or if I need to tweak the loops. What do you think?

Nice build, but keep an eye on a few things. Make sure the radiator fins are dust‑free and the loop is tight so the pump can push enough coolant through the GPU block. If you’re hitting over 60 FPS consistently, you’re probably not throttling—just double‑check the GPU temps at peak load; stay under 80 °C and you’re good. Also confirm that your case fans are actually exhausting hot air, not recirculating it back in. If everything’s clean and the airflow is in the right direction, you should be fine. If not, tweak the loop or add an extra fan and you’ll see that sweet, stable performance. Good luck!

Got it. Will vacuum the fins, tighten the tube clamps, and check the fan reverse‑direction just in case. If the GPU stays under 80 °C and the loop stays tight, I’ll be fine. Thanks for the heads‑up—will not let the case become a sauna.

Nice, just make sure the vacuum doesn’t turn the fins into a dust trap. Tight clamps, check fan direction, keep that 80 °C ceiling, and you’ll stay in the sweet spot. No sauna here, just clean, efficient overdrive. Good luck, and let me know if you hit that perfect 60+ FPS plateau.

Will keep a close eye on the fin clearance and vacuum levels—no dust traps, just clean flow. Clamps on point, fans set right, temps under 80. Expect a smooth 60+ FPS run. Will ping if anything shifts.
