Hlebushko & Tundra
Hlebushko, I’ve been working on a new way to pack snow into blocks for a shelter that keeps the wind out—do you think a little extra layering with pine needles would help keep the heat inside?
That sounds like a wonderful idea, dear—adding pine needles could add a nice layer of insulation, and their natural oils might even help keep the snow dry. Just make sure you press the layers firmly, and you’ll probably get a cozy, wind‑resistant shelter. Good luck, and feel free to let me know how it turns out!
Thanks, Hlebushko. I’ll try the pine needle layer and keep it tight. Keep your eyes peeled for any wind gaps.
Sounds lovely—just a gentle reminder to keep everything snug, and I’ll keep an eye out for any gaps that sneak in. You’ve got this!
I’ll keep the layers tight and watch for any gaps. Thanks for the heads up.
You’re doing great—stay warm and safe!
Thanks, Hlebushko. I'll stay alert and keep the shelter tight. Stay sharp.
