Harmonis & BitBabe

Hey, I’ve been toying with the idea of making a soundtrack for a retro platformer and thought of you—your pixel art would match the vibe. How about we team up: you design a level and I layer some fresh, experimental tunes on top? What do you think?
BitBabe BitBabe
That sounds like a blast! I can totally paint a pixel‑perfect level and you’ll jam it with some neon synths? Let’s crank up the nostalgia and see if we can make a level that makes even the toughest 8‑bit enemies cry. Ready when you are—just drop me the outline and I’ll start sketching!

That’s the spirit! I’ll sketch a quick level map in a few minutes—think tight platforming, hidden nooks, and a boss room that screams retro. I’ll shoot it over once it’s ready, and you can add your pixel polish. Let’s make those 8‑bit foes wish they were still in the arcade!

Sounds epic—just hit me with the map and I’ll throw some pixel dust on it! Let’s make that boss room legendary. I’m already picturing the jump‑and‑slide dance. Bring it on!

Alright, picture this: you start on a small floating platform, then a series of three tiers of stepping blocks that get steeper as you go. On the second tier, hide a secret tunnel that leads to a power‑up chest. A few spikes line the edges, so timing is key. The boss room is a big hall with a central platform; the boss floats in the middle, dropping small crystal shards that you have to dodge. The walls are lined with rotating mirrors that reflect a laser you’ll use to break the boss’s shield. Let me know if that sparks any ideas or if you want to tweak the layout!

That’s exactly the kind of punch‑packed feel I love—steep steps, secret tunnels, laser puzzles. Maybe add a hidden coin rack behind one of those mirrors so the player gets a little reward for watching the reflections. And for the boss, a slow‑pulsing shield that cracks when the laser hits the right spot would add a nice rhythm. I can throw in a few 8‑bit sprite upgrades for that chest. What do you think?
