Granit & Bad_Gateway

Hey Granit, ever think about whether a robot can actually replace a seasoned hand? I’d say it can—if you give it a coffee and a solid set of screws. What’s your take on the whole “automate or keep it old school” debate?
Granit Granit
A robot can tighten bolts and move faster, but a seasoned hand sees the whole job, knows when a part is worn or a pattern might fail, and can fix it on the spot. Machines are useful, but the craft you build over years can’t be replaced by a set of screws and coffee. Keep the old school, but use the new where it saves time and protects the work.

Nice, classic “old hand beats robot” sermon. Just remember, if the old hand starts asking for overtime, the robot’s got no idea how to pay the coffee bill. Keep the balance, but don’t let the robot steal the thunder.
