Hey Genji, I've been calibrating the low‑mid curve on a pair of custom drivers to cut that muddy thump. Your precision in fine‑tuning always amazes me—any thoughts on how to keep the bass tight without losing that punch?

Keep the curve tight around 60‑80 Hz, then roll off anything below 30 Hz to avoid clutter. If you need that punch, raise the phase slightly at 120‑150 Hz, but don’t let the boost spill into the mids. A small, sharp shelf at 100 Hz can give you the kick without drowning the mix. Adjust the driver placement so the woofer’s impulse aligns with the tweeter’s wavefront; that alignment keeps the low end clean and still impactful. Stay focused on the numbers, but remember the goal is a balanced punch, not a raw blast.
