I’ve been thinking about fire lately—how it can light a path or burn it down, how it’s both a friend and a foe, just like courage can save you or break you. Do you ever feel that your own fire both protects and consumes you?

Yeah, I get that. Fire gives me strength, but if I let it run wild it can burn what I’m trying to protect. I push forward anyway, but I keep an eye on the flame so it doesn’t eat everything I care about.
