Yeah, sometimes I think the whole thing is like a bad indie film that nobody finished, but then I remember I still get to add my own improv scenes. The director might be clueless, but at least we’ve got the spotlight to rewrite a line or two.

Yeah, the mic feels like a magic wand, but the audience can still be a handful of shadows, so I keep hoping the words I toss out actually stick.
