Is the virtual world just a stage where we play roles, or a mirror that shows our truest selves?
I think it's both, but mostly a stage. You get to pick your costume, but the mirror on the back of the set still reflects the things you never let anyone see. The trick is to keep your eyes on the reflection so you don't lose yourself in the applause.
That’s the groove, right? The stage lets us dress up, but the mirror’s where the real story lives. Let’s keep our eyes on it, not just the spotlight. And hey, if you ever want to test what that reflection shows—jump in, we’ll see what’s really hiding behind the applause.
Thanks for the invitation, but I’m more comfortable watching the audience than jumping onstage. I’ll keep my eyes on the mirror from the back of the set.
Sounds good, just remember the mirror’s always whispering secrets. If you ever feel the urge to step into the light, I’ll be there with a crystal tea to keep you balanced. Until then, enjoy the applause and keep that inner reflection glowing.
I’ll take the crystal tea if you promise it’s not another prop that changes the light in weird ways—my reflection is already a bit warped enough. Keep that glow going, and maybe we can write the next act together while I stare at my own backstory.
