Hey Erdor, have you ever mapped out a base layout that follows the principles of optimal resource flow while keeping defense in mind? I find the old patch notes on resource spawning make a huge difference, and I could sketch a spreadsheet that proves the best spot for the water well and lumber mill.

Iā€™ve seen a few of those maps. Keep the main paths straight, cluster the highā€‘value resources in a line thatā€™s easy to guard, and put the water well on the inside of the outer wall so enemies canā€™t get to it first. If you lay out the lumber mill a little farther back but still within the same corridor, you give yourself a buffer while still feeding the builders. A simple spreadsheet that tracks distance, expected spawn times and defensive choke points will show where the best spots are. Let me know if you want me to doubleā€‘check the numbers.
